Located in Doti, Dadeldhura, Bajhang and Baitadi districts , West Seti is a storage project with a capacity of 750 MW. CWE Investment Corporation (CWEI) , a subsidiary of Chinas Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) was awarded the project through direct negotiation by GoN on Feb 29th 2012. In contrast to other hydropower projects under the mandate of IBN, this project has been focused towards domestic consumption inside Nepal.
